Sierra Denae is an alternative rock singer and songwriter out of Lansing, Michigan. Though her background in music varies from a life of lessons, recitals, talent shows, musicals, and ensembles, she has an unexpectedly unique voice and style.
In July, 2014, Sierra Denae released the self performed, produced, and mastered EP “I Still Exist”. One Amazon.com reviewer says of her self-released EP “The raw and powerful vocals go perfectly with the rock music. This is a mix of driving rock, catchy melodies, and the lyrics are relatable, but not typical”.
In October 2015, Sierra Denae released a live performance video of the cut “Beautiful Mask” with the members of her band. She invites each member of her band to add their own splash of talent to this unique mix.
Sierra Denae has done shows (as headliner) for Frock The Loft at The Loft in Lansing, MI, and were a feature artist for Noah Guthrie, as well as the bands Alien Ant Farm, Kaleido, Stitched Up Heart, Failure Anthem, and Letters From the Fire.
On July 6th, 2016 Sierra Denae performed at Common Ground Music Festival in Lansing, MI. As the only female rock artist of the night, she opened for bands such as Heartsick, The Bouncing Souls, '68, Red Sun Rising, and Rise Against.
